Voice Policy
Dear Parents and Students:
Here is my 2010 – 2011 Vocal studio policy.
Billing and Fees: Lessons are 45 minutes and 30 minutes in length. Payment is due on a monthly basis. I will email you a bill at the beginning of the month for the previous month’s lessons. If you do not wish to be billed via email please tell me and I will send you a bill in the mail. Contact me directly for specific fees.
A weekly lesson time is reserved and regular attendance is necessary for steady progress. If you need to cancel a lesson, you must notify me twenty-four hours in advance. If I receive less than 24 hours notice, you will be required to pay for the lesson.
Music books and materials will be billed separately. Please write a separate check for music.
No lessons on the following dates: September 6th, November 11th, November 24th – 26th, December 20th – 31st, January 17th, April 18th – 22nd, May 30th, 31st.
Recitals and CM date: The fall and spring recitals and the Certificate of Merit dates have not been scheduled yet, as soon as I can confirm these dates I will inform you.
Rehearsals and Recitals: I invite my students to participate in two recitals per year. Although these recitals are optional, they are highly recommended to build confidence in performance. Recitals are held at the Foster City Library/Community Center, 1000 E. Hillsdale Blvd, Foster City. Recital fees will be equally divided up between the participants and billed accordingly. Rehearsal time with the accompanist will be billed according to each students time used.
Certificate of Merit studio and registration fees will be billed in October.
E-mail: E-mail is a great way to communicate with me! Please send me your e-mail address. Sending me an email to cancel or change lesson times is fine as long as you give me 24 hours notice of any changes.
Parking: Please try to park directly in front of the house during the lesson and take care not to block the driveway.
